Makes 1/2 Pint + a little extra
Ingredients
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans - i used a food processer
- 1 cup granulated white sugar
- - pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon heaping brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
- 1/2 cup brewed coffee
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch mixed in 1/4 cup water
How To Make pecan pie jelly

Step 1In a medium sauce pan combine coffee in butter cook on medium heat until butter has melted. Add sugars, salt, pecans, and maple syrup. Cook until sugar had dissolved completely.

Step 2When the pecan mixture just begins to boil add cornstarch mixture and stir until thick and bubbly. Remove from heat and add vanilla.

Step 3Pour into jars allow to cool and refrigerate.

Step 4Use within 2 to 3 weeks.
