Ingredients
- 5 medium golden delicious apples
- 5 medium granny smith apples
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon real butter
- 1 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
- 4 cups sugar
- 2 packages ball liquid pectin
How To Make mixed apple jam

Step 1Put butter and water and lemon juice is a pot on low warm

Step 2Core slice and peel the apples, and dip in a cup of 1 part lemon juice and 3 parts water, then put into food processor

Step 3add cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and Dark brown sugar, and blend until applesauce-like consistancy

Step 4Add to pot, increase heat to medium, add sugar and pectin...bring to a rolling boil for 4 minutes, remove from heat

Step 5Ladle into prepared half pint jars, leave 1/4 head space, add lids and process for10 minutes in water bath canner Remove jars, let stand for 12 hours
