4 lbpears, peeled, cored and quartered

2 csugar

1 tsporange zest, fresh is best

1/4 tspnutmeg

1/4 corange juice
How to Make Laura's Pear Butter
- Place pears in saucepan with 1/2 cup water.
Cook until soft, about 30 minutes.
you can put them thru a sieve if you like, they usually just need stirring.
You need about 8 cups of pulp. - Pour pear pulp. Say that fast 3 times, lol.
and sugar in pan. Stir to disolve sugar.
Stir in Orange zest, nutmeg and orange juice. - pour into hot jars and water bath 15 minutes. make a batch of homemade biscuits and sit down and enjoy this flavor combo. xoxoxo
