fig jam
This jam is super simple to make and is great on a biscuit or scone and it is on a cheese plate. I even used this jam to make a glaze for our Easter Ham last year and it was INCREDIBLE! Hope you like it as much as we do! Thanks Monica

Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped dried figs i used dark and light ones
- 1 cup water
- 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon
- 1/4 cup wine, i used chardonnay cause it's what i like
- - pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)
- - drizzle of honey
How To Make fig jam

Step 1In a sauce pan on low head add the water and the chopped figs and the sugar, simmer for about 15 minutes. Add the wine and continue to simmer another 10 minutes

Step 2Place the figs and juice in the food processor and add lemon and honey and a pinch of salt and pulse until it's smooth. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.

Step 3This spread is great on muffins, scones, toast etc as well as great with a cheese plate or on a grilled cheese. I even used it to make a glaze for our Easter ham last year was great~
