Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 1/4 cups dr pepper ( or drink of choice )
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 3 ounces liquid pectin
- - a few drops of red food color (optional)
How To Make dr. pepper jelly

Step 1Combine sugar, Dr. Pepper & lemon juice in a large saucepan. Add food color if desired and mix well. Place over high heat* and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

Step 2Stir in liquid pectin at once. Bring to a full rolling boil. Boil hard 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Step 3Remove from heat; skim off foam with a metal spoon. Pour quickly into hot sterilized pint size jars and seal. Refrigerate.
