I love Dr Pepper so I use it, but you can make this with any drink flavor.

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 2 1/4 c
    dr pepper ( or drink of choice )
  • 1/4 c
    lemon juice
  • 3 oz
    liquid pectin
  • ·
    a few drops of red food color (optional)

How to Make Dr. Pepper Jelly

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine sugar, Dr. Pepper & lemon juice in a large saucepan. Add food color if desired and mix well.
    Place over high heat* and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  2. Stir in liquid pectin at once. Bring to a full rolling boil. Boil hard 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  3. Remove from heat; skim off foam with a metal spoon.

    Pour quickly into hot sterilized pint size jars and seal. Refrigerate.
