Fall and around the holidays is a great time to make this. You probably have all the ingredients after Thanksgiving. Not only can you serve this to your guests, but you can give this as gifts.

  • 1 Tbsp
    vegetable ol or canola oil
  • 1 small
    onion, diced
  • 2
    stalks celery
  • 1
    bag (12oz) fresh cranberries
  • 1
    green apple, peeled and diced
  • 1 c
    brown sugar, packed
  • 1 stick

How to Make Cranberry Apple Chutney


  1. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a saucepan over medium heat and cook the onions and celery for 5 minutes or until tender
  2. Add the remaining ingredients, stir, cover and simmer for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally while cooking.
  3. Can in a hot water bath to preserve or give as gifts in decorative small jar.
