How to Make CATHIE'S PEAR JAM
- peal, core & chop pears. Place in food processor for a couple of pulses - you want it chunky.
- place in large pot and add lemon juice, nutmeg, cinnamon, coconut and sure-jell; bring to a full rolling boil over med high heat. Add sugar. Bring to full rolling boil for minute. remove from heat and add amaretto. Skim and fill jars.
