Recently my husband's sister gave me some of their deceased mother's favorite recipes. I have cooked apple butter before, but this is the best (and easiest) I've ever made. Needless to say, my husband loved it. His mother was right there (in spirit) when he buttered the biscuit and loaded it up with Apple Butter.
Ingredients

16 cunsweetened apple sauce

8 csugar

1 capple cider vinegar

4 Tbspcinnamon
How to Make Apple Butter
- mix all ingredients in large pot. Cook at medium-low about 25-30 minutes *stir often, until thick.
- Put in hot jars and seal
- For an interesting change in flavor use apple pie seasoning instead of cinnamon.
