This is a unique, mild-flavored sauce that tastes very decadent, rich and extrememly hard to pull off. However, this sauce is very easy to make and makes you look like a gourmet cheif!

Ingredients

  • 1-2 large green onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup fat-free milk
  • 3-4 tablespoons crumbled blue cheese - or more to taste
  • 1 tablespoon white wine

How To Make white wine blue cheese sauce

  • Step 1
    In a small saucepan, saute onions and garlic in butter until tender. Sprinkle with flour; stir until blended. Gradually add milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Add cheese and wine; heat through. Serve sauce with roast or pork.
