  • 1/2 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1/3 c
    chopped onions
  • 5 tsp
    cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tsp
    nutritional yeast
  • 2 Tbsp
    light soy sauce
  • 2 c
    vegetable broth
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried sage
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground black pepper

How to Make Vetgetarian Gravy


  1. Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Saute onion and garlic until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes
  2. Stir in flour, nutritional yeast and soy sauce to from a smooth paste Gradually whisk in the broth. Season with sage,salt,and pepper
  3. bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer, stirring constantly for 8 - 10 minutes. or until thickened.
