vegetable oil
1/3 c
chopped onions
5 tsp
cloves garlic, minced
4 tsp
nutritional yeast
2 Tbsp
light soy sauce
2 c
vegetable broth
1/2 tsp
dried sage
1/2 tsp
1/2 tsp
ground black pepper

How to Make Vetgetarian Gravy


  • 1Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Saute onion and garlic until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes
  • 2Stir in flour, nutritional yeast and soy sauce to from a smooth paste Gradually whisk in the broth. Season with sage,salt,and pepper
  • 3bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer, stirring constantly for 8 - 10 minutes. or until thickened.
