Stove Top


  • 1 lb
    mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 large
    onion, chopped
  • 1 c
    chicken or beef bouillon
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp
  • 2 Tbsp
    cold water
  • ·
    salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream

How to Make Sos grzbowy (Mushroom Sauce), Mark's


  1. Simmer the mushrooms with the onions and bullion for 15 minutes.

    Stir in the flour mixed with 2 tablespoons cold water. Bring to a boil, stirring.

    Remove from the heat. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Add sour cream.

    Yeilds 3 cups.
