i like adding veggies to this so ya get veggies for breakfast... hubby makes this at least once a month

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fav pork sausage
  • 1 small onion,chopped fine
  • 1 small bell peppers,chopped fine[mix of green and red]
  • 1 small carrot,grated
  • 1 - handful,fresh spinach,chopped
  • 2 cups 1% milk
  • 1/4 cup flour with salt and pepper added to taste

How To Make sausage gravy

  • Step 1
    in lg fry pan cook sausage til no longer pink...add onion,pepper,carrot...cook and stir bout 10 min,add spinach cook 5 min more while this cooks whisk flour into 1/2 c the milk... once veggies are done pour rest of milk into pan then add flour/milk mix cook and stir til it bubbles
  • Step 2
    serve this on biscuits with a poached egg...oh and a lg glass yur fav juice[mine is diet cran/pomagranete]
  • Step 3
    i've even fixed this for dinner and served it over mashed potatoes,rice,or pasta
