- 1 tablespoon diced carrot
- 1/4 tablespoon honey
- 2 ounces all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon diced yellow onions
- 1 tablespoon diced celery
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 quart chicken stock
- - salt and pepper to taste

Step 1IN A SAUCEPAN USE 4 TABLESPOONS BUTTER AND SWEAT ONION, CARROT, AND CELERY UNTIL TRANSLUCENT

Step 2ADD GARLIC AND HONEY, REMAINING BUTTER AND FLOUR

Step 3COOK UNTIL THE FLOUR IS GOLDEN BROWN

Step 4ADD STOCK AND BRING TO A BOIL

Step 5TURN HEAT TO SIMMER FOR 1 HOUR, WHISKING EVERY 15 MINUTES

Step 6IF CONSISTENCY GETS TOO THICK, ADD WARM WATER OR STOCK TO KEEP DESIRED CONSISTENCY

Step 7USE HAND MIXER AND PULSE GRAVY WHILE SIMMERING TO BLEND VEGETABLES WELL

Step 8ADD SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE AND SERVE
