Serve with ham, grits, eggs and homemade biscuits to sop up any remaining juices.
- 1 c
- strong black coffee
- 1/8 c
- brown sugar, packed
- country ham steak
How to Make ~ Redeye Gravy & Country Ham ~
- 3Now, while the skillet is still warm, add the coffee mixture and scrape any bit of meat off the bottom of pan. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Continue cooking until gravy is reduced by half.
Serve over ham. Hubby likes some on his grits too. Make sure you have some good biscuits to sop up the remaining gravy!
