This is a nice sauce that can be served with ham, pork, or poultry.

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon peel, fnely shredded
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar

How To Make raisin sauce for ham

  • Step 1
    In saucepan, combine brown sugar and cornstarch.
  • Step 2
    Gradually stir in water, then raisins, lemon peel, lemon juice and vinegar.
  • Step 3
    Cook, stirring, until thickened and bubbly.
