butter

flour

heavy cream (can replace with milk if desired)
1-2 Tbsp
ground black pepper
1 tsp
salt

How to Make peppered gravy

Step-by-Step

  • 1in a heavy saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. combine with flower and cook until flower and butter is slightly browned.
  • 2add pepper and salt to butter/flour mixture. stir until combined.
  • 3slowly whisk in the heavy cream until combined, may add more cream until its the consistency you want it
