    butter
  • 8 Tbsp
    flour
  • 4 c
    heavy cream (can replace with milk if desired)
  • 1-2 Tbsp
    ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp
    salt

How to Make peppered gravy

Step-by-Step

  1. in a heavy saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. combine with flower and cook until flower and butter is slightly browned.
  2. add pepper and salt to butter/flour mixture. stir until combined.
  3. slowly whisk in the heavy cream until combined, may add more cream until its the consistency you want it
