This gravy is "almost" sinful over hot butter southern style biscuits.

Ingredients

2-3 Tbsp
olive oil
1 lb
country sausage
1/2 lb
lean ground beef
1 small
sweet white onion, chopped fine
1 c
whole milk
1 c
half and half
2 Tbsp
sun dried tomatoes, thinly sliced
1/2 c
cheddar cheese, shredded
fresh parsley
cornstarch
salt and pepper

How to Make Over The Top Sausage Gravy

Step-by-Step

  • 1Saute chopped onion in oil in large skillet until tender.
  • 2Add sausage and beef (crumbled) and cook until there is no pink in the meats. Drain excess grease if necessary.
  • 3Add milk and half and half and het until bubbling.
  • 4Salt and pepper to taste, then thicken with cornstarch mixed in water.
  • 5Pour into a serving bowl and garnish with cheese. tomatoes and parsley.
