Ingredients
- 2-3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound country sausage
- 1/2 pound lean ground beef
- 1 small sweet white onion, chopped fine
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup half and half
- 2 tablespoons sun dried tomatoes, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- - fresh parsley
- - cornstarch
- - salt and pepper
How To Make over the top sausage gravy

Step 1Saute chopped onion in oil in large skillet until tender.

Step 2Add sausage and beef (crumbled) and cook until there is no pink in the meats. Drain excess grease if necessary.

Step 3Add milk and half and half and het until bubbling.

Step 4Salt and pepper to taste, then thicken with cornstarch mixed in water.

Step 5Pour into a serving bowl and garnish with cheese. tomatoes and parsley.
