    giblets from turkey
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1
    chicken bouillon cube
  • 1/4 large
    yellow onions
  • 10 oz
    chicken broth
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1/2 c
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    ground black pepper
  • 1
    celery stalk
  • 1 qt
  • 4 large
    eggs, hard boiled

How to Make Oma's Giblet Gravy


  1. In a 2 quart saucepan, simmer giblets, salt, pepper, bouillon, celery and onion in 1 quart of water for 40 to 50 minutes.
  2. Discard celery, onion, and gizzard. Chop liver and neck meat and return to water. Add chicken broth.
  3. Chop eggs and add to broth. Mix cornstarch and milk together and slowly add to broth. Stir well until thickened. Reduce heat to low, until ready to serve.
