Homemade Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup
If you save your broth from baking chicken, this is the perfect thing to make w/it.
And a real $money$ saver!
Blogger suggests freezing into 1 1/2 cup portions (=1 can).
1 1/2 cchicken broth
1/2 tsppoultry seasoning
1/4 tspgarlic pwd
1/4 tsponion pwd
1/8 tspblack pepper
1/4 tspparsley flakes
1 1/2 cmilk
How to Make Homemade Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup
- In medium-sized saucepan, boil chicken broth, 1/2 cup of the milk, and the seasonings for a minute or two (longer if using fresh onions or garlic).
- In a bowl, whisk together the remaining 1 cup of milk and flour.
Add to boiling mixture and continue whisking briskly until mixture boils and thickens.
