  • 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt - to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper - to taste
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 - 6 - hard boiled eggs - chopped
  • 3 - 6 - slices buttered toast

How To Make creamed eggs on toast

  • Step 1
    Form a rue by melting the butter and blending in cornstarch, salt and pepper.
  • Step 2
    Gradually add the milk, bring to a gentle boil and cook for 2 minutes. Stirring constantly.
  • Step 3
    Gently stir in the eggs.
  • Step 4
    Serve on buttered toast.
