When I was visiting the states, I bought some store packets of country gravy mix, then I did some research and found you can make this with what you have on hand, and the taste of the gravy is better than the packets, and you know what is in it.

Ingredients For country gravy mix

  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh ground black pepper
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground sage

How To Make country gravy mix

    Add everything to a bowl and mix together.

    Store in an airtight container and use within 1 year. I stored this in a quart jar with a plastic reusable lid.

    3 tablespoons of this mix equals 1 packet of store bought country gravy mix.
