3/4 cpowdered milk

1 cwater to mix you may need more or less

GRAVY

1/2 cno salt butter

1/2 call purpose flour

dash(es)salt and pepper to taste

3 cmay need more depends on how thick or thin you like the gravy.i use whole milk but you can use 2%
How to Make BECKY'S BISCUITS"N"MILK GRAVY
- IN A LARGE BOWL ADD ALL DRY INGREDIENTS.WHISK TO BLEND.
- MAKE A HOLE IN THE FLOUR MIXTURE ADD OIL AND 1/2 THE WATER.ADD WATER MIX WELL UNTIL THE DOUGH IS TACKY.
- POUR DOUGH OUT ON A FLOURED SURFACE.KNEAD DOUGH UNTIL NO LONGER TACKY.
- PINCH ENOUGH DOUGH TO MAKE A BISCUIT.PUT IN A WELL OILED PAN AND TURN TO OIL BOTH SIDES.DO THIS UNTIL ALL DOUGH IS GONE.MAKES
- PLACE IN A 375 OVEN FOR 20 MINUTES OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN.MAKES 12 BISCUITS.
- GRAVY:
MELT BUTTER IN MED.HIGH HEAT.(DO NOT BURN.)ADD SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE.ADD FLOUR 1/4 AT A TIME AND MIX WELL.COOK ABOUT 2-3 MINUTES BEFORE YOU ADD YOUR MILK.YOU DON'T WANT YOUR GRAVY TO TASTE LIKE DOUGH.COOK UNTIL IT'S THE RIGHT CONSISTANCY FOR YOU.POUR OVER BISCUITS AND ENJOY!!
