This is a very much used sauce in the trade.
Great for left over burgers, by crumbleing the burger in the sauce. And you could add any thing else to it for a left over meal.

Add to Grocery List

1/2 c
chicken broth
1/2 tsp
1/6 tsp
white peppers
1/2 c
light cream
1 1/2 Tbsp
minced onions
a pinch of nutmeg
egg yolks
to thicken roux equal parts of flour and margarine

How to Make Bechamel Sauce


  • 1Simmer chicken stock, add cream, onions, & all except roux. Simmer 10 minutes. Add roux for thickness,rule of thum is when sauce just sticks to a spoon. It is ready.
