Ingredients

  • ·
    1/3 pound bacon (cut sideways 1/2 inch wide)
  • ·
    3 tbs flour
  • ·
    3 tbs butter/margarine
  • ·
    2 % milk approx 3 cups ( or according to desired thickness)
  • ·
    1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • ·
    salt at table per taste

How to Make "Bacon" breakfast biscuit gravy

Step-by-Step

  1. In large oiled skillet fry bacon to your likeness. When bacon is done ( you can remove SOME of the drippings if you chose) ... add butter/maragrine and pepper ... once butter is melted add flour .. stirring immediately with whisk. Once flour is desolved and slightly brown .. slowly start adding milk 1/2 cup at a time until your reach your desired thickness. Serve over favorite biscuits. I suggest salting at table.
  2. Note: this gravy can be frozen.
