Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 2 tablespoons grated lemon zest
  • 1 can (14oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice

How To Make zesty lemon sauce

  • Step 1
    In a heavy saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Stir in lemon zest and cook 2 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Whisk in sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Gradually add lemon juice, whisking constantly. Cook and package into jars.
