wojape/wojapi (lakota berry sauce)
A simple sauce or pudding, Wojapi can be made with strawberries, blueberries, huckleberries, blackberries, elderberries, gooseberries, or other berries that may be in season, or a mix. You can use fresh or frozen berries. You can thicken it if you want it as thick as pudding, and/or sweeten it with sugar, honey, maple syrup, or another sweetener of your choice. I got this recipe from the same website where I found the fry bread recipe. I've halved the amounts from what was given.
