Ingredients

2 cfinely chopped watermelon
-
1 ccrushed pineapple, well drained
-
3/4 csweet onion, minced
-
1/4 cfresh cilantro, chopped
-
1/4 corange juice
-
1/4 tsptabasco sauce
How to Make Watermelon Salsa
- In the order listed, stir all ingredients together in a bowl.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving with tortilla chips. (can also be served over fish)
- Best made several hours in advance and refrigerated to allow flavors to meld.
- Note: Original recipe called for 1 cup of chopped onion, but I adjusted it to what I felt was the best taste.
