STRAWBERRY SYRUP; CANNED from my heart and hands. Who doesn't Love Strawberries??? I just had to Enjoy the Fruits of the Season. This is My very own Personal recipe. Enjoy on pancakes, Waffles, ice cream, Cake or anything else your Heart Desires, as you know anything grandma cooks has gotta be Good

  • 6 pt
    fresh from the farm strawberries or 1/2 a flat. (should make 6-7 cups juice.)
  • 3 c
  • 2 Tbsp
    pdr pectin
  • 2 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter, cold

How to Make Strawberry Syrup By freda


  1. Wash and Sterilize Jars and lids in Pan of boiling water, Have ready.
    Measure out your 3 Cups sugar and set aside,
  2. Wash and Hull strawberries
    Mash well to to a Fine pulp or Pulvinate with a blender.
  3. Strain Strawberries in a Fine mesh Strainer, or (you can use Cheese Cloth.) you should have No seeds and Only Juice in the pan. (be patient its worth the Effort)
  4. Pour Strawberry Juice in a big 6 Qt pan on high heat, Stir Constantly,
    Add your Pectin now, (2 TBS PDR PECTIN) Stir well Bring to a full roling Boil.
  5. Add Sugar all at once. stir constantly, & bring to a Full rolling boil for 15 Minutes.
    Remove from Heat, add 1 TBS Butter, Stir well, Skin off any foam.
  6. Pour into sterilized jars, Seal at Once,
  7. Place Hot jars back into hot Water in Canner. Process in Water bath for 15 min @ full boil. . . . . Enjoy your Syrup.
