Spicy Cherry Sauce

3/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/3 cup orange juice
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 can pitted tart red cherries, 16 oz
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
dash ground cloves


1In medium pan, mix about 1/2 of the sugar, the cornstarch and dash salt
2Stir in orange juice and lemon juice. Stir in undrained cherries, cinnamon and cloves.
3Cook and stir over medium heat til thickened and bubbly; cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes more. Stir in remaining sugar. Serve warm with ham or pork.
