  • 1 can(s)
    pitted royal ann cherries in heavy syrup
  • 2 Tbsp
    cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1 Tbsp
    cornstarch - the tablespoon should be heaping

How to Make Royal Anne Cherry Sauce - Connie's


  1. Drain syrup off the cherries directly into a small saucepan, reserving the cherries for later.
  2. Add all ingredients, except cherries, to the syrup, stirring over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil.
  3. Add cherries and heat through and serve over meat of your choice.
