raisin sauce for ham

I always made this on Easter to put on our cooked sliced ham before serving.It was a big hit.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1-1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 tablespoon butter

How To Make raisin sauce for ham

  • Step 1
    Mix brown sugar,dry mustard,and cornstarch in saucepan. Add water , vinegar,and raisins. Cook and stir until thick. Add butter and stir in,take off heat. Makes about 2 cups. Serve with Ham
