Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup canned solid pack pumpkin
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 pound butter, unsalted (2 sticks)

How To Make pumpkin butter

  • Step 1
    Heat pumpkin in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly until it dries out (about 2 minutes). Let cool.
  • Step 2
    By hand fold pumpkin puree with nutmeg, allspice and cinnamon into butter.
  • Step 3
    Refrigerate up to two weeks.
