I serve this with the Yellow Dog recipe in my recipe box as well as on waffles, pancakes. ice cream even for pineapple upside down cake. So easy and super delicious.

Ingredients
- 2 cups crushed pineapple
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
How To Make pineapple sauce

Step 1Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan.

Step 2Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for about 3 minutes.

Step 3If sauce ends up too thick, you can thin it out by stirring in a bit of water or even pineapple juice.

Step 4If the sauce is too thin, try draining the pineapple before adding it to the saucepan. You could always add the pineapple juice as needed throughout the cooking process.
