- 8 pounds pears
- 2 pounds sugar
- 6 large bell peppers, 3 green, 3 red
- 1 tablespoon tumeric
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon mixed spices: stick cinnamon,allspice,cloves, tied in a bag
- 6 cups vinegar
How To Make pear relish

Step 1Grind peppers and drain; do not squeeze. Mix all the ingredients and put in a large pot. add the vinegar. Boil for 30 minutes. Pack in jars and seal. Delicious on purple hull peas..
