pear butter
This is a recipe I often make in the summer when my pear trees over produces. The recipe can easily be increased if you want to can for the winter. I also make this in the winter when I buy too many pears and they get over ripe. You can easily leave the sugar out for a low calorie version. With all the spices and sweetness of the pears you will never miss the sugar.
