- 1 bag 12-oz bag cranberries
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons grated orange peel
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons crystallized ginger, chopped
How To Make gingered cranberry sauce

Step 1Combine cranberries, 3/4 cup water, sugar, orange zest, and ground ginger in a heavy medium saucepan over medium-high heat Cook until cranberries burst, stirring frequently , about 5 minutes.

Step 2Transfer sauce to a food processor and add maple syrup - process until almost smooth. Stir in chopped crystallized ginger.

Step 3Cover and refrigerate overnight.
