- About 4 hours or up to 2 weeks ahead:
- In a covered blender at slow speed, blend cottage cheese with sugar, vanilla and egg until smooth.
- In a large bowl, with mixer at low speed, beat ice cream with cottage cheese mixture until blended.
- Pour into a 5 x 10 loaf pan; cover with foil or plastic wrap; freeze until firm.
- Let stand in refrigerator about 30 minutes for easier scooping.
