Ingredients
- 3 large granny smith apples, peeled, cored, finely chopped
- 3 large gala apples, peeled, cored, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon, ground
- 1/8 teaspoon allspice, ground
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg, ground
How To Make crock pot apple butter

Step 1Place the apples in a crock pot. Top with sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, allspice & nutmeg & mix well.

Step 2Cover & cook on LOW 10 hours, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is thickened & dark brown.

Step 3Uncover & puree with an immersion blender. Cook on HIGH uncovered 1 - 2 hours.

Step 4Spoon into sterile jars, or containers & refrigerate.
