Don't like cranberry sauce as a rule, until tried this one a few years ago and love it, have to have it.

  • 2 c
    cranberry juice
  • 6 oz
    package of craisins
  • 1/2 tsp
    orange zest
  • 2 medium
    peeled diced gala apples
  • 1
    cinnamon stick or 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 c
  • 2 tsp
  • 1 Tbsp
    orange juice

How to Make Cranberry Sauce


  1. Cook craisins in juice with cinnamon, orange zest, and sugar. Boil 5 minutes. Add apples and cook until fruit is tender, about 5 more minutes. Mix cornstarch intoi orange juice and stir into mixture till thickened. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
