  • 1 lb
    fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1 c
  • 3 c
    peeled and diced apples
  • 3 1/2 c
  • 1/2 tsp
    clove, ground
  • 1/4 tsp
    allspice, ground
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans
  • 1/2 tsp
    lemon juice

How to Make Cranberry Apple Conserve


  1. Wash and pick over berries removing all stems. Add to a dutch oven and pour in water. Cook over medium-high heat until skins pop. Add apples, sugar and spices and cook until mixture thickens, about 25 minutes. Stir in peacans and lemon juice. Cool to room temperature and refrigerate until ready to use.
