Even though this recipe is so simple, it packs a flavor that is off the charts. I buy bagged cranberries and freeze them so I can make this year round. But with a Thanksgiving turkey, it really is something quite special. Everyone loves it and it's always the first thing to disappear.

prep time 10 Min
cook time 10 Min
method Stove Top
yield 8-10 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • 1 bag fresh cranberries, frozen is okay but do not thaw
  • 1/2 cup sugar (do not use artificial sweetener)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 bag frozen raspberries

How To Make cran-raspberry sauce

  • Step 1
Put the cranberries, water and sugar into a medium sized saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until the cranberries pop, about 10 minutes, give or take
  • Step 2
Remove from heat and add the raspberries. Stir well until raspberries are thawed but don't break up a lot of the raspberries.
  • Step 3
Pour into serving dish and cool completely. Cover and refrigerate until very cold.
