Ingredients

  • 20 oz
    cherries, pitted and canned with juice
  • 1/2 c
    raisins
  • 1/2 c
    honey
  • 1/4 c
    cider vinegar
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon, ground
  • 1/8 tsp
    cloves, ground
  • 1/2 c
    pecans, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp
    cold water

How to Make Cherry Honey Relish

Step-by-Step

  1. In a 2-quart saucepan, combine all the ingredients through the clove listing.
  2. Cook slowly, uncovered, for 30 minutes; Stir in the pecans.
  3. Combine the cornstarch and cold water, blending well, and gradually stir into the cherry mixture.
  4. Cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
