Ingredients

  • 1 pint fresh blueberries
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • - pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

How To Make blueberry sauce

  • Step 1
    Rinse berries, drain well.
  • Step 2
    Mix sugar,salt,cornstarch in saucepan. Add water and lemon juice,stir until dissolved.
  • Step 3
    Add berries; bring to boil.
  • Step 4
    Boil 1 to 2 minutes, until clear and slightly thickened. Stirring carefully to avoid crushing berries.
  • Step 5
    Serve warm or chilled.
