How to Make Blackberry Sauce
- In a medium saucepan, melt butter. Add onoins and cook until softened. Add sugar, lemon juice and berries and simmer until they release their juices.
- Add red wine vinegar and soy sauce. Simmer for an additional 10-15 minutes.
- Remove from the heat, place in a food processor or blender and blend until smooth. Pass through a strainer if seeds are not desired.
- Can be frozen for up to 1 year and makes 1 cup--serve this with duck, pork, chicken.
