How to Make Apricot Walnut Conserve
- Cover apricots with water in a heavy stainless steel or enamel saucepan and simmer uncovered about 20 minutes or until tender.Drain, then chop.
- Return chopped apricots to saucepan and combine with orange juice,orange rind,lemon juice and sugar. Bring to a boil and cook until mixture is thick, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and stir in nuts.
- Fill and cap containers according to manufacturer's instructions and process in hot water bath for 20 minutes.
