Ingredients

  • 5 medium apples peeled cored and chopped
  • 3 medium pears peeled cored and chopped
  • 1 medium orange peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 cup golden raisins
  • 1/2 cup each dark brown sugar and maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 3 tablespoons orange juice
  • 4 teaspoons cornstarch

How To Make apple pear compote

  • Step 1
    In an instant pot mix the first 10 ingredients together. Secure the lid and select pressure cook hi and cook 8 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Let the pressure release naturally for 5 minutes then quick release.
  • Step 3
    Mix the orange juice and cornstarch together. Carefully remove the lid and select saute and bring the mixture to a boil stirring constantly. Stir in the cornstarch mixture and cook until thickened about 2 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Ladle into jar. wipe rims and secure lids. Water bath for 10 minutes.
