This was a staple in my Italian in-laws kitchen. Its very good on paste salad or spinach sald. The recipe makes a good sized jar and it keeps well in the frig for 4-6 weeks.

1/3 cup sugar
1 - envelope dry italian salad dressing mix
3 - garlic cloves, minced
3/4 cup apple cider vinegar
3/4 cup water
3/4 cup olive oil

How To Make sweet italian salad dressing

Step 1

In a small bowl, combine the sugar, salad dressing mix, garlic, vinegar and water; gradually whisk in oil. Store in the refrigerator. Stir before serving.
