This is a recipe that was in our local paper a number of years ago. You use it for a sauce for noodles.

  • 3 Tbsp
    sesame seeds, toasted
  • 1/4 c
  • 1/4 c
  • 4 1/2 Tbsp
  • 4 1/2 tsp
    rice vinegar
  • 2
    green onions, minced
  • 1
    piece ginger, minced (1-2 tablespoons)
  • 1 Tbsp
    sesame oil

How to Make Sesame Ginger Sauce


  1. Put toasted sesame seeds in a small food processor and process about 30 seconds - until aromatic.
  2. In a small bowl or 1 cup measure, whisk together soy sauce, water, sugar and rice vinegar.
  3. Whisk in sesame seeds, green onions, ginger and sesame oil.
