How To Make jalapeno popper grilled cheese
-
Step 1OPTION #1: (IF USING OPTION #2, SKIP TO STEP 3) First roast your jalapenos. You can do this on the barbeque or you can roast them on my stove element on medium low heat.
-
Step 2Once the jalapenos are done roasting, place them in a Ziploc bag for a few minutes, then peel the skins off, cut them in 1/2 & remove the seeds & spines.
-
Step 3OPTION #2: Drain juice out of jarred jalapenos. Chop finely.
-
Step 4While the jalapenos are roasting (or option #1) combine the cream cheese, ranch dressing, chives & sun dried dry tomato in a bowl, mixing until smooth. For option #2, add chopped jalapenos to cream cheese mixture & blend well.
-
Step 5On one slice of bread spread the cream cheese mixture & lay out your jalapenos, then top with plenty of cheese.
-
Step 6Generously butter the outside of your sandwich & cook in a pan on medium heat until golden brown. Slice it in 1/2 & dig into this AMAZING grilled cheese sandwich!
