This dressing will remind you of Olive Garden's dressing. Use as a marinade for chicken for a zesty flavor!

  • 1/2 c
    white vinegar
  • 1/3 c
  • 1/3 c
  • 1/4 c
    corn syrup, light
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    grated romano cheese
  • 2 Tbsp
    dry pectin
  • 2 Tbsp
    egg or egg substitute
  • 1 1/4 tsp
  • 1 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 1/4 tsp
    dried parsley flakes
  • pinch
    of dried oregano
  • pinch
    of crushed red pepper flakes

How to Make Italian Salad Dressing


  1. Combine all items in a blender or food processor and blend on low for 30 seconds. Serve over mixed greens or use as a marinade. The secret to thickening is the dry pectin.
